Crowd Control Stanchion Material

In our daily life, we can see many different kinds of crowd control stanchions. According to the material, we can generally divided them into metal stanchion, plastic stanchion and wood stanchion. And among them, the most widely used one is metal stanchion.

Metal stanchion includes steel stanchion, stainless steel stanchion, aluminum stanchion and copper stanchion. Depend on different material, the price of them are different. Normally, basis of same size and design, steel stanchion is the cheapest one, and copper stanchion is the most expensive one. 

Due to the different material, the surface finishing of metal stanchion also will be different. For example, we normal use powder coating process on steel stanchions. Because of if we expose them to the air directly, they will get rust quickly. So durable powder coating is very important to this kind of stanchions. We use outdoor environmental protection powder with mature coating process in all of our steel stanchion, to make sure the coating doesn’t come off. 

For stainless steel stanchions, the common finishing is mirror polish, brush and titanizing(Gold). However, sometimes customers also require use powder costing on stainless steel stanchions. Different surface finishing also will affect the price, normally titanizing(gold) is more expensive than mirror polish and brush.
